A soft and fluffy flatbread, perfect with curries or as a side dish.

Preparation

  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Then gradually add the yogurt, oil and lukewarm water and knead until smooth. Or simply add all ingredients to the mixing bowl and knead for about 10 min on medium speed.
  2. The dough should no longer stick and be nice and soft. Form the dough into a ball, cover with olive oil.
  3. Place a clean kitchen towel over the dough and let it rise for an hour.
  4. Cut 6 portions from the dough and shape each piece into a ball. Flatten the small pieces of dough slightly with your hands.
  5. Cook on both sides in a coated pan over medium heat. Spread liquid herb butter on the warm naan.
