French dressing

A vinaigrette is the basis for many delicious salad dressings

Tasty vinaigrette for all leaf salads, easy and quick to prepare, keeps in the fridge for up to three weeks. In spring and summer it is a staple in the fridge.

Ingredients

  • 200 g mustard
  • 1 medium white onion
  • 150 g honey
  • 200 g sugar
  • 50 g salt
  • 200 ml vinegar
  • 500 ml water
  • 1.3 l vegetable oil

Preparation

Chop the onion into small pieces.

Place all the ingredients except the oil in a narrow container and mix well with a hand blender.

Gradually pour in the oil until a nice creamy consistency is achieved.

Finally, season the salad dressing to taste again, pour over the prepared salad and mix everything together with the salad servers.

It is important that the lettuce is spun dry well after washing.

Pour the French dressing into a bottle and store in the fridge for approx. 3 weeks, shake the bottle well before use.
