Soft fluffy Indian bread

The Indian naan bread is very easy to make yourself.This bread goes with almost everything: grilling, a curry dish and also with various dips such as hummus or wild garlic dip.

Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 125 g lukewarm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation

Mix the dry ingredients in a size bowl. Then gradually add the yogurt, oil and lukewarm water and knead until smooth.

Or simply add all ingredients to the mixing bowl and knead for about 10 min on medium speed.

The dough should no longer stick and be nice and soft.

Form the dough into a ball, cover with olive oil.

Then place a clean kitchen towel over the dough and let it rise for an hour, then cut 6 portions from the dough and shape each piece into a ball

Flatten the small pieces of dough slightly with your hands.

Cook on both sides in a coated pan over medium heat.

Spread liquid herb butter on the warm naan.
