About Me

Hi, I'm Khadija. I'm a cook and I live in Bern.

Cooking has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mother was a wonderful cook who could always put a smile on people's faces with her food. That love for creating dishes stayed with me.

I became a trained chef – first as a Diploma Technician in Cooking in my home country Morocco, and later as a fully certified cook in Germany.

After working in various kitchens – from fine dining restaurants and hotels to a private clinic – I eventually took on roles as a Chef de Partie in the AllgΓ€u region.

Along the way, I also studied Sociology at university, where I explored how food affects people and communities. That mix of hands-on cooking and understanding people is what I bring to every recipe I share.

For me, cooking isn't just a job – it's a form of art, a way to care for others, and a bridge between cultures. Whether it's a simple loaf of bread, a Moroccan tagine, or a delicate pastry, every dish tells a story.

On this site, I want to share that joy with you – through recipes, baking tips, and a little bit of my journey. I believe in respect, kindness, and good food made with heart.

I speak Arabic natively, German fluently, and French as well – and my cooking brings all those worlds together. From traditional Moroccan breads to German pastries, every recipe here comes from experience, curiosity, and love.

Thanks for stopping by.
